Wow... when I was a young girl in the 1960s, I used to watch the scrambling on TV with my dad. I loved it more than any other sport and remember names like Dave Bickers and Arthur Lampkin. Wonderful xxx

I raced "scrambles" in Florida in the early to mid 1960's I rode a 250 Jawa Scrambler. American scrambles was quite different from European motocross. If was much less rough riding with most of the tracks having a jump or two but mostly flat and very dusty. If my mother knew I was out racing on a Sunday my bike would have been locked in the garage until I was at least 40!!

Enjoyed hearing Mr. Burris. The segue music questions are less appealing.

I'm trying to accomplish some wiring a bit more complex than just "switch on and off" (installing LED lights with both a hardwired connection and a controller; LED strips have a positive, and then the ground placement decides the color; ie, ground to red or blue, or red and green, etc) where I need to be able to not only switch the power line, but also the ground source. Being able to see it so simply helped me visualize it much easier. Thanks a bunch!

How do you get the piston back out from the hole when it's been pressed to the bottom I mean atleast for me when i press it down theres no room under it for the fluid to push it back up??

When compressing the calliper, put a cloth around the brake lever reservoirs, otherwise you will push the brake fluid back up and overflow! Or simply bleed some out with proper gear so as to not get air in the system

I bought the book as soon as I saw it, interested in seeing the story within large automotive manufacturers a well as learning about one of my favourite cars (the A110!). I was not disappointed at all - the book is excellent! Well written, with a great balance of detail and readability, and providing a fascinating insight only available from someone involved right at the heart of these projects.

Hey bud im fitting 2015 toyota prius power steering column to my 1980 for escort and it has a stand alone ecu thats only connected to the pas not the engine ecu and it runs in limp mode but can be a bit light on the steering i just want to make it a tad heavier if needs be when i get it fitted can this be done with you application 🤗

UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust ruclips.net/user/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

His MG Midget and Austin Healey Sprite restoration guide says they're the same color and I want to ask him if they indeed are. I keep hearing Speedwell is lighter or darker and I want to settle the matter by seeing a color code for both :-) how pedantic is that, lol.

Can you create a switch for electric steering to sometimes feel lighter for performance, but sometimes feel heavier like 90s cars for comfort rides?

Great book, very much an "over the shoulder" look into the complex and demanding pursuit of birthing a new car. I only watched to hear an Irish, Japanese, French accent...

Is it possible to hear rumble? Sometimes when I'm driving I can hear a bass noise and I think it's just the car vibrating like a speaker would with pressure waves because of going over potholes. Is this just my imagination? I thought this might relate to natural frequencies in spring rate but I'm not able to find info on the audio aspects of this. Or if evwryday physical materials can even convert vibration into audio the way speakers do. Like a metal wall, or large glass windows in the wind, etc.

Interested in trying this out. My previous car was a 1998 Honda Accord. My current car is a 2008 Honda Fit. The steering on the Fit is SO much lighter, that I'm kind of afraid I might swerve harder than I'd want to, if ever something happens while I'm on the road. I wish it had selectable strength levels, like the 2nd gen Kia Soul does. I'll go through the service manual, and see if I can find out which wires I would need to add the potentiometers to, and maybe try this out some time this summer. If a test works, I'll try and find the resistances needed for normal, medium, and heavy. Then install a 3-way rocker switch with those resistors in the blank plug next to the side mirror adjuster.

Im stunned noone in 2023 has drop in ssr that fit into standard relay positions in older cars. Several types of relays onboard, yet noone has marketed a 10 second to pull out/ drop in module to upgrade existing "dinosaur tech"

In some forms of racing the rules only allow a limited amount of macs working on the machine. In saloon car endurance racing only 6 macs could work on the car, re-fuel, brake pads on 4 wheels (manual tools only), and 1 guy to assist driver swop and windscreen clean.

Arthur Browning was also a TT rider. He's the best all round motorcycle racer we ever produced

Best years in the history of the planet. Never ever to be repeated. If you weren't there then you will never know. I was there with my DOT. I met Alan clough, John Griffiths, Frank Yarwood, Ernie Greer. Fred Spann, John Done and many more. The cheshire centre had some great riders.
